PURPOSE: To improve remarkably the operability by bringing the state from the recording medium reproducing state into the broadcast reception state through single operation and stopping the operation of a recording medium reproducing means while a recording medium is loaded and not ejected.
CONSTITUTION: When a cassette half is loaded to a tape deck 7, a loading detection switch 21 applies the 1st operation command signal to a tape power supply 24, a power voltage is fed to the tape deck 7 and the state is brought into the tape reproduction state. Further, the operating state of the tape power supply 24 is given to a control circuit 10 and a tape ON signal is stored in an internal memory. In operating a tuner switch 23 in the tape reproducing state, the power voltage is applied from the turner power supply 25 to the FM tuner 9 in response to the 2nd operation command signal. When the control circuit 10 detects the operation of power supply from the tuner power supply 25, the tuner ON signal is stored in the internal memory and since the tape ON signal is stored already, the 1st stop command signal is fed to the tape power supply 24 to operate an FM tuner section 9, the tape reproduction is stopped to attain tape relase state.
