Abstract:
PURPOSE:To set the functions of a controller in response to various external devices and also to improve the workability of the controller, by displaying screens on a display panel through the display functions using a simple language and patterns. CONSTITUTION:A mode selecting display containing a language and patterns is carried out on an initial screen of a display panel 5a after the power is supplied to a controller. Then a desired mode is selected with operation of an external input key 4a. Thus a prescribed mode containing the corresponding language and patterns is displayed on the panel 5a. Based on this display, the desired items are set successively for each screen by means of the key 4a. Then a desired function corresponding to an external device B can be set to a device A.
