Abstract:
PURPOSE:To adjust transmission torque, by transmitting rotary motion of the first transmission wheel to the second transmission wheel through a friction member, fixing a movable yoke of ferromagnetic material to the first transmission wheel and arranging an electromagnetic device at a face-to-face position to and with a slight amount of gap apart from said movable yoke. CONSTITUTION:A turning effect is transmitted to the first transmission wheel 12 from the outside, then a turning effect of prescribed torque is transmitted to the second transmission wheel 16 through a friction plate 15. If an excitation coil 20 is electrically conducted to flow a current, a magnetic path as shown by an arrow head is constituted between a movable yoke 13 and fixed yoke 19, and the movable yoke 13 is attracted to the fixed yoke 19. In consequence, the first transmission wheel 12 is applied with resilient force of a spring 14 further with magnetic force. Required torque changed in accordance with a winding state of a tape can be changed by controlling electric conduction to the excitation coil 20.
