To provide a functional cloth that has excellent air permeability and moisture permeability, extremely good sweat absorption to suppress unpleasant feeling, for example, greasiness, thus gives dry and smooth feeling and provide feet-wiping mat, clothing, bed and bedding and interior fiber products prepared by using the functional fabric.
The functional fabric 1 is prepared by sewing the edge part in the longitudinal direction in a plurality of belt-form fabric base and connecting them. The edge part 2a in one belt-form fabric base material and the edge part 2a in another fabric base 2 are overlapped so that they may confront to each other and the overlapped edged parts 2a, 2a are covered with a belt-form covering cloth 3 and they are sewed thereby projection parts 4 is formed on the surface of the cloth at a prescribed interval whereby the functional fabric 1 is produced.
