Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a pillow capable of retaining the cervical vertebra in a natural state even during sleep and contributing to health and pleasant sleep; to provide a pillow allowing any user to easily adjust the height and width to those suited to the user and facilitating folding and cleaning; and to enable low-cost manufacture.SOLUTION: A functional healthy pillow includes: an occipital region support part 11 for supporting the occipital region; a left temporal region support part 12 that is disposed at the left side of the occipital region support part and, when a user lies on the left side, supports the left temporal region; and a right temporal region support part 13 that is disposed at the right side of the occipital region support part and, when the user lies on the right side, supports the right temporal region. The occipital region support part includes a cervical vertebra support part for supporting the cervical vertebra, the cervical vertebra support part being formed of a cloth-like material and formed by winding one side of the cloth.
