To provide a functional member mounting structure having no such a risk that workability worsens by being required for injection work of a caulking material when the functional member is mounted on roofing and, at the same time, that a stabilized waterproofing effect is not obtained or that waterproofing is not made.
The functional member mounting structure is so constituted that the base board 2 is placed on the roofing 1 and, at the same, that the functional member 3 is fixed to the surface of the base board 2. A fixture insertion hole 20 inserting a fixture 4 for fixing on the roofing 1 is formed in the base board 2, at the same time, the fixture 4 is formed by fitting a cylindrical packing material 41 having elasticity from the back of a head section 40a of a screw 40 over to a middle part of a shaft section 40b, the fixture 4 is inserted in the fixture insertion hole 20 of the base board 2 placed on the roofing 1 and is fixed by thrusting it into the roofing 1 and, at the same time, the packing material 41 is compressed between the roofing 1 and the base board 2.
