Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional polyolefin (tubular) film which shows water resistance and chemical resistance which paper does not have in addition to paper like touch, gas permeability, moisture permeability, tearing easiness, writing properties, printability, adhesiveness, and disposability and has a wide range of applications.
SOLUTION: A (tubular) film 5-150μm in thickness which is molded from a polyolefin composition incorporated with an inorganic filler (CaCO3, etc.) is subjected to corona discharge treatment in which a high voltage current of 50-3000W/m2/min is applied to obtain a functional film. Packaging bags, pressure sensitive adhesive sheets, and pressure sensitive adhesive tapes (masking film sticking tapes for packaging, etc.) can be produced from the film.
