To provide a functional resin composition having excellent deodorizing and anti-bacterial functions both of which can sustain for a long time while bleeding out is effectively suppressed even using animal- or plant-derived functional components.
This functional resin composition comprises a functional component (A) derived from animal or plant, and a ceramic component (C) added to a resin (R), where at least a part of the ceramic component (C) is zinc oxide. The functional component (A) and the ceramic component (C) are preferably added to the resin (R) in a form of composite particle of the two. The functional component (A) is preferably at least one component selected from the group consisting of catechins, saponins, tea-leaf powder, tea-leaf extract, tannin(tannic acid), chitin and chitosan.
