Abstract:

To provide a function setting device capable of setting a series of functions in an apparatus while reducing the operation.

The function setting device through which a user sets the function of an electric apparatus having a plurality of functions comprises a means 54a for displaying a plurality of function keys previously allotted with specific functions on a function setting screen, a means 54f for accepting a function setting function where the user drags the function key while depressing up to a specified position on the function setting screen and releases the key at that position, and a means 54f for setting the electric apparatus with the function allotted to a function key accepted by the accepting means 54f as an object of drag and drop operation so that the function can be executed.
