Abstract:

To provide a funeral implement capable of holding an urn containing ashes and a Buddhist memorial tablet alone after putting the ashes into the urn, forming a ceremonious post ornament even if there is still no household Buddhist altar and playing the role of a box and a small desk, etc., to puton white cloth as the post ornament.

The funeral implement is provided with the Buddhist memorial tablet 4, the urn 50 and a housing case 1 wherein a partition wall 23 is put in and the urn and the Buddhist memorial tablet are packed. Also, the housing case 1 comprises: a box main body 2 turned to a hollow rectangular parallelepiped shape with an upper surface opening 20 by a bottom plate part 21 and side plate parts 22, where the inside is sectioned by the partition wall 23 and the urn 50 and the Buddhist memorial tablet 4 are packed; and a lid body 3 turned to the hollow rectangular parallelepiped shape with a lower surface opening 30 one size larger than the box main body by a top wall 31 and side walls 32, which can be put on and fitted to the box main body from above. The base color on the outer surface side of the box main body 2 and the lid body 3 is turned to gold and a Buddhist painting 34 is drawn on the top wall inner surface 31b of the lid body 3 further.
