PURPOSE: The titled composition showing improved controlling effect of long-period durability on blight and downy mildew of various crops, containing a specific pyrimidine derivative, and captafol, TNP, captan, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A composition comprising (A) a compound shown by the formula (R is methyl, ethyl, aryl, or propargyl; X is O, or S) showing improved action on blight and downy mildew caused by Phycomycetes, having insufficient durable effect, and (B) (i) captafol: N-(1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethylthio)-4-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboximide, (ii) TPN: tetrachloroisophthalonitrile, (iii) captan: N-(trichloromethylthio)-4-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboximide or (iv) dithiocarbamate fungicide such as zinc ethylenebis(dithiocarbamate), showing preventing effect on blight and downy mildew, not being expected to have remedying effect.
