Abstract:

To obtain a fur-like elastic ribbon having high elasticity, a wild fur- like handle, usable as a decorative cloth of an arbitrary part and a belt besides fringe work of clothing, or the like, eliminating the need for a run-proof, capable of being sewed by a sewing machine.

This fur-like ribbon comprises a raschel knitted fabric provided with cut piles 12 and knitted in ribbon shape in a fixed width. The cut piles 12 are composed of a mixed yarn of three kinds of acrylic yarns consisting of an acrylic yarn dyeable with a cationic dye, having a circular cross section, an acrylic yarn dyeable with a cationic dye, having a modified cross section and an acrylic yarn dyeable with an acid dye, having a circular cross section. The cut piles 12 are dyed with the cationic dye, the base part of the cut piles forms stitches and connected to a ground part 11. An elastic yarn is knitted into the ground part 11 while forming stitches.
