Abstract:
PURPOSE: To uniformize the temperature distribution in a furnace by arranging furnace heaters parallely longitudinally of a furnace bottom and along a furnace side direction and providing heating parts of the respective furnace heaters at different portions along an installation direction.
CONSTITUTION: Furnace heaters 3, 4 are arranged as one set parallely longitudinally of a furnace bottom and along a furnace side direction. Each of the furnace heaters 3, 4 is constructed into a U-shape by interconnecting one ends of two parallel heater bodies, and heating parts 3a, 4a of each heater body are provided at different portions along a longitudinal installation direction. Hereby, in the calcining furnace, the furnace heater 3 as an upper heating type and the furnace hater 4 as a lower heating type are alternately arranged, so that temperature of an upper region in the furnace is controlled by the upper heating type furnace heater 3 while temperature of a lower region in the furnace is controlled by the lower heating type furnace heater 4.
