Title:
FURNACE AND METHOD FOR GASIFICATION OF WASTES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3183226
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a fuel gas, a molten slug, a molten metal and/or low boiling point heavy metals by gasifying and melting wastes.
SOLUTION: This melting furnace has a waste charging port 11-1 from which wastes are charged on the top, and a gas discharging port 3-1 to discharge a generated gas, and has a discharging port 9 for a molten slug and molten metals on the bottom, and also is equipped with tuyeres 5-1 to 5-3 divided into several steps (normally into three steps) in the height direction, which can blow a combustion supporting gas and an auxiliary fuel respectively independently into a furnace wall part. In addition, the melting furnace is constituted in a manner to be equipped with a means 71 which measures the level of charged wastes, a gasification melting furnace having means 20, etc., to measure temperatures in the furnace, and/or an upward blowing lance 24-1 and a dust collecting means 25. In this case, the recovering efficiency of an energy gas can be increased by recycling the recovered gas into the furnace.
