Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate an easy assembly of a cabinet structure by an arrangement that a corner bracket shaped in a rough X connects side plates opposing each other in a right angle and in the hollow of the corner bracket, i.e., a place corresponding to the corner of the cabinet structure a corner trim element engages removably. CONSTITUTION: A cabinet structure for storing furnishings and the like is constructed in a square by front and rear side plates 13 and right and left side plates 14 and each side end of the rear side plate 13 is connected to right or left plate 14 by a corner bracket 21. Each corner bracket 21 has a pair of flat plate like legs 25, 26 which cross in a right angle, overlap respectively to inner faces of plates 14, 13 and are secured to the plates with screw, etc. The corner bracket also has another pair of flat plate-like legs 27, 28, which cross in almost right angle and are arranged to overlap almost tightly to the perpendicular ends of plates 13, 14. A corner trim element 41 having an arched end wall fits in and fills the triangle space thus formed by legs 27, 28.
