To provide a generation device or the like capable of generating a catalog CG on demand, which indicates an attractive setting-up example stimulating a purchasing desire of a user regarding respective free-designed furniture arbitrarily organized with each other.
The furniture catalog generation device comprises a means for receiving design data of the furniture and generating a fine three-dimensional image of the furniture, a means for selectively displaying by specifying a piece of peripheral furniture items suitable for the furniture from a table on the basis of special features of the furniture specified by the design data, a display means for receiving an input specifying any of the displayed peripheral furniture items and specifying and selectively displaying rooms suitable for the specified peripheral furniture items from the table, and a means for receiving the input specifying either of the displayed rooms and generating a catalog image, in which the furniture and peripheral furniture items are arranged in the room, from the specified peripheral furniture items and room, and the generated three-dimensional image.
