To provide a furniture in which a plate-like member has a thin wall thickness and is made light weight upon maintaining necessary strength, durability and weatherability, which enables not only thick appearance but also lightweight and thin appearance, can constitute a predetermined design, and raises variety of a design by through-holes.
In the furniture, a plate-like member is made of concrete. The concrete of the plate-like member is fiber reinforced concrete. The concrete does not containing rebars and aggregate. In the plate-like member 4 of the fiber reinforced concrete, through-holes 5 are formed. The through-holes of the plate-like member constitutes a design according to shapes, sizes, a number or arrangement. The plate-like member of the fiber reinforced concrete is formed into a plate-shape with the through-holes. Alternatively, the plate-like member of the fiber reinforced concrete is formed into a plate-shape having no through-hole and the through-holes are formed after shaping. Hole forming machining is carried out by water jetting machining.
