PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture improved in strength and industrial design by forming a leg member with an opening, into which a backing member fixed on a floor or wall is inserted.SOLUTION: A counter 1 comprises: a top plate member 10 to be arranged above a floor F and along a horizontal direction; leg members 20 arranged below the top plate member 10 and supporting the top plate member 10; and an underfloor substrate material 30 fixed on the floor F. The leg members 20 have an underside opening part 21 formed in an under side 201 facing the floor F, and the underfloor substrate material 30 is inserted into the underside opening part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
