To provide furniture such as a desk having the top completely made of bamboo good for the environment of the earth by stacking plural bamboo layers formed by connecting bamboo materials to prevent the bowing of raw bamboo and keeping high surface hardness.

In this furniture, all of flat members forming furniture, such as a top 1 of a desk and a seat plate of a chair are made of bamboo. One plate-shaped bamboo layer 2 is formed by cutting out the bamboo materials 2a to form the flat member, having predetermined width k, k', thickness s, and length, from the raw bamboo, and adhering plural bamboo materials 2a in the plane direction. Plural bamboo layers 2 are stacked and adhered to each other, further the surface bamboo layer 2 is impregnated with a thermosetting resin 5 to keep high surface hardness, and then the stacked plural bamboo layers 2 are smoothened by heat and pressure.
