To provide a furniture system preventing attraction of a metal piece such as a clip or safety pin onto a magnet member provided at a connector.
The furniture system includes: the power feeding side connector (first connector ) 7 having the magnet member 52 provided at a table (fixed furniture) 2 and made of magnet; a power receiving side connector (second connector ) 22 having a magnetic member 53 provided at a cart (movable furniture) 3 and made of a magnetic body, and configured such that when the cart 3 comes closer to the table 2, the power receiving side connector is electrically connected with the power feeding side connector 7, and the magnetic member 53 is magnetically attracted to the magnet member 52; a cover member 61 for covering the power feeding side connector 7 and formed with an opening portion 62 for inserting the power receiving side connector 22 therein; and an opening/closing member 63 openably provided at the opening portion 62 of the cover member 61 and opening the opening portion 62 in association with the motion of the cart 3 coming closer to the table 2.
