Abstract:
To provide furniture and a furniture system facilitating fitting an optional member extending upward from a mounting member, and capable of suppressing a style of an external appearance from being damaged.SOLUTION: There is provided a furniture body formed in a polygonal shape and having a plurality of corner parts viewed from above. The furniture body includes: support pillars having member support holes into which optional members extending upward can be inserted from above, and extending in a vertical direction in parts positioned in the corner parts in the furniture body; and lateral plates closing from a side intervals between the adjacent support pillars. The lateral plates have upper lock projections projecting to the support pillars. The support pillars have upper projection engaging parts with which the upper lock projections are engaged. The lower end part of the optional member is formed with a projection insertion part into which the tip part of the upper lock projection is inserted through the upper projection engaging part in a state that the optional member is inserted into the member support holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
