PURPOSE: To prevent the mistakes that are caused by the manual operations and to improve the reliability in a furniture wholesale control system by securing the mechanical cooperation of data between the order placing processing and the order receiving processing.

CONSTITUTION: In an order placing processing state, two bar code seals 21 are issued and stuck onto a commodity 24 to be received and a delivery schedule table 22 respectively. The commodity codes are printed on both seals 21 in bar codes together with the commodity names and the scheduled dates of delivery printed in characters. One of both seals 21 is immediately stuck onto the table 22 and the other seal 21 is sorted for each scheduled date of delivery and each wholesaler and kept stored until the delivery of the commodity 24. When the commodity 24 is stocked, the collation is carried out among a statement 23 of delivery, the actual commodity 24, and the table 22 together with inspection of the commodity 24. Then the bar code seal 21a stuck onto the table 22 is scanned by a hand scanner, and the stocking items like the change of quantity, etc., are corrected together with input for decision. These operating results are sent to a host computer.
