Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of the body of an earthquake alleviating device by making the cover covering the earthquake alleviating device from outside movable to a refuge position that does not inhibit the action when this earthquake alleviating device is active.
SOLUTION: A moving mechanism 4 has a posture retaining means 42 which can move between a mounting position and a refuge position while keeping each cover 3 in a standing posture, and a coil spring as an energizing means which can automatically move this cover 3 to the refuge position Q and retain in this refuge position when the cover 3 is moved from the mounting position to the refuge position Q direction over predetermined. When the earthquake alleviating device 2 becomes active and the cover 3 moves to the refuge position Q side over an intermediate position moved by a moving body 22 which tends to swing and move, then the cover 3 is energized to the refuge position Q in a constant posture by an elastic recovering force of the coil spring and retained in the refuge position Q. Since the cover 3 can evacuate so as not to inhibit the action of the earthquake alleviating device, the earthquake alleviating device 2 can be covered by the cover 3 to improve the designability.
