To provide furniture with quake absorbing function, which can absorb quake (rolling) during the earthquake effectively with its relatively simple structure.

The furniture comprises the furniture body 1 with the base of the square outer shape and the floor plate 2 laid under the furniture body. On each of the four corners of the base 10 of the furniture body, a corner plate 11 is attached and on each of the corners of the upper surface 20 of the floor plate, a smoothing plate 21 with low friction resistance so that each corner plate 11 can slide against the smoothing plate 21, when the furniture body 1 is mounted on the floor plate. Furthermore, a slide limiting means 3 is proved between the base 10 of the furniture body and the upper surface 20 of the floor plate to prevent each corner plate 11 on the furniture body from coming off from each smoothing plate 21 on the floor plate. With such simple structure, the furniture can obtain optimal quake-absorbing effect.
