Abstract:
To prevent degradation of aesthetic appearance of end portions of a plate material, when edge materials are fitted to side edge parts of the plate material.SOLUTION: An edge material fitting structure is configured to fit edge materials 24 to side edge parts 26 of a top board 2. Each edge material 24 includes an edge body 24a disposed to face the side edge part 26 of the top board 2, and a base piece 24b extending from the edge body 24a toward inside a back face of the top board 2. The edge material fitting structure includes: fixing means that, in a state where the edge body 24a is disposed to face the side edge part 26 of the top board 2, screw-fixes the base piece 24b onto a top board-side fitting part 65 provided on the back face side of the top board 2; and pressing means that, when the base piece 24b is screw-fixed onto the top board-side fitting part 65, moves the base piece 24b in conjunction with the fixing means such that the edge body 24a is pressed toward the side edge part 26 of the top board 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
