Abstract:
To provide furniture with a top plate, excellent in assemblability and industrial design.SOLUTION: Furniture with a top plate includes: a plurality of legs 14 raised from a floor; a connection member 13 mounted on the upper end part of the leg 14; a support frame 12 mounted on the upper end part of the leg 14 via the connection member 13 and having a first rod material 21 extending in the longitudinal direction; and a top plate supported on the support frame 12. The connection member 13 has: a leg fixing wall 51 fixed to the upper end part of the leg 14; and a peripheral wall part 52 having a first rod fixing wall 61 erected from the leg fixing wall 51 and fixed to the first rod material 21, and defining an upper opening 60 opening the leg fixing wall 51. In the peripheral wall part 52, a lateral opening 63 opening the first rod fixing wall 61 is formed in a position opposed to the first rod fixing wall 61. The leg 14 has a closing part for closing the lateral opening 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
