PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store an article below a top board while suppressing a decrease in a space on which a user can ground the feet below the top board.SOLUTION: Furniture 1 with a top board includes: a base part 50 installed on a floor F and having an upward directing load support surface 50s; a pole 20 provided in the base part 50 and extending upward from the load support surface 50s; a top board 40 supported on the pole 20; and a space formation member 30 arranged below the top board 40 and supported on the base part 50. The space formation member 30 is arranged separately from the pole 20 so as to form an article storage space 31 storing an article between the pole 20 and itself, and has an upward extending space formation surface 30s.
