To provide a fuse base and a manufacturing process of the same, in which mistakes by manual operation are prevented in the manufacture of the base to reduce the product flaw or damage rate.
In the fuse base and the manufacturing process, a base manufacturing step which was performed manually is substituted by fully mechanized automatic operation. The base manufacturing step includes placing a metal wire material on a workbench, cutting the metal wire material into two lead wires having a fixed length, forming a shaped structure, setting the lead wires on a molded base body, connecting the lead wires to the base body, and flattening the lead wires to thereby finish a product. The fuse base includes a body and two lead wires. Mainly, joint holes are formed on lateral sides of the body so as to extend from the top surface to the bottom surface, the bottom ends of the joint holes forming trumpet-shaped guide holes, and flat shaped structures are formed at positions close to the top ends of the two lead wires. The lead wires are inserted to the joint holes of the base body through the guide holes and fixed through the shaped structures by an automated mechanical facility, whereby the product is finished.
