To provide a fuse in which the jointing part of the electrode part and the fuse wire are made in high melting point and the number of constituting components and manufacturing process are reduced, thereby realizing cost reduction, and reliability of the fuse wire processing can be improved, and the manufacturing method of the fuse.
The electrode caps 2a 2b are steadily adhered to both ends of the cylinder-shape member 1 using as necessary an adhesive such as non- conductive epoxy resin and polyimide resin. Then, a fuse wire 3 is penetrated and stretched between the openings of the electrode caps 2a, 2b that are adhered at the both ends of the cylinder-shape member 1, and positioned at the outside of the electrode caps 2a, 2b. And a jointing material 5a, 5b of a high melting point is supplied and positioned at the opening position, and arc is generated or laser is irradiated, aiming at the head of the high melting point jointing material 5 by, for example, a spot welder or a laser welder, and it is jointed by heating and fusing so as to cover the opening of the electrode caps, thereby, the fuse wire, the electrode and the jointing material are steadily integrated and alloyed.
