PURPOSE: To produce a new fusible interlining cloth exhibiting excellent followability independent of the kind of the face cloth and having moderate springiness and stiffness.

CONSTITUTION: This fusible interlining cloth is produced by applying an adhesive resin to one surface of a textile substrate consisting of a warp-inserted tricot cloth containing warp inserted in weft direction. Since a warp-inserted tricot cloth containing warp inserted in weft direction is used as the substrate, an excellent followability is attained even in the case of using a wool gabardine, etc., as the face cloth and the produced interlining cloth has balanced elongation and moderate springiness and stiffness.
