Abstract:

PURPOSE: To certainly detect a discharge cell wherein electrode short-circuit trouble is generated in a discharge device of ozone generator or the like by providing an integrator, a comparator and a detection output part.
CONSTITUTION: When trouble is generated in a discharge cell 13, the output of the width of the detection period of a pulse width detection circuit 28 becomes shorter than that at a normal time necessarily. At this time, the output of the integrator 29 integrating the output of the circuit 28 does not reach the reference value of a comparator 30. Therefore, fusing detection output is not generated and a detection output part (monostable multivibrator 32) generates fusing detection output. Therefore, when trouble is generated in the cell 13 and a fuse 16 is fused, even if an inverter 4 does not fail in communication and operation is continued, fusing detection output is generated in the detection output part 32. The cell 13 in which trouble is generated can be certainly detected as the fusing of the fuse 16 thereof and the cell 13 required in replacement can be accurately calculated as the fusing number of the fuse 16 by counting the detection output.
