A fusion cutting machine comprises: a running carriage 4 movably mounted on guide rails 3; a torch installation portion 5 protruding from the running carriage 4 in a direction substantially perpendicular, in a top plan view, to the moving direction of the running carriage 4; and a welding torch portion 7 mounted so turnably on the torch installation portion 5 that at least the leading end is positioned outside of a maximum movement position in the moving direction when the torch installation portion 5 is positioned at the maximum movement position.
