Abstract:

To provide a novel compound useful as an agonist of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR).

The G-protein-coupled receptor agonist includes a compound represented by general formula: L-(CH₂)m-COOH or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. In the general formula: L is R¹R²N- or R¹O-; R¹ is an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may be substituted; R² is an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, a hydrogen atom or the like; R¹ and R² may form a ring together; m is 4-16;-CH₂CH₂- not including the terminus C atom of -(CH2)m- may be substituted by -MR³-; M is O, S or NR⁴; R³ is a 1-5C alkylene group which may be substituted or the like; and R⁴ is an aromatic hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, an aromatic heterocyclic group which may be substituted, a hydrogen atom or the like.
