Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a gage measuring device capable of measuring a correct gage by simple constitution and stably.
CONSTITUTION: A gage measuring device 1 is composed of a pair of flange- attached wheels 4 supported by an axle 2 having a fixed length to travel on rails 3, sensors provided on respective wheels to output a signal according to the lengths (b) and (c) of spaces in a horizontal direction between the rails and wheel flanges 5, and an operation unit 9 operating a gage by receiving signals from the sensors; and is measuring a gage lenth (a+b+c) continuously and automatically in traveling.
