Abstract:

To control gain with a simple means and to prevent saturation of waveforms of reception signals by a method, wherein when a reception level reaches a level in which a reception part saturates, a transmission output or a reception input is turned off.

After beat signals output from a mixer 9 are amplified by an amplifier 21, they pass though a filter 23 and are input into a decision circuit 24, and are input into a DSP(digital signal processor) and microcomputer 13. Receiving control signals a, b from the DSP and the microcomputer 13, ON-OFF drive signals SWT are fed from a transmission side drive control part 25 into Amp (T), and on-off drive signals SWR are fed from a reception side drive control part 26 into an Amp (R), respectively. OFF control signals c are fed from the DSP and microcomputer 13 into the transmission side drive control part 25 and reception side drive control part 26. When the reception part reaches a saturation level, one of the transmission output and reception input is turned off, thereby controlling the gain.
