To provide a galvanic anode of a magnetic attraction system whose use in water is achieved owing to its excellent corrosion resistance.
The galvanic anode comprises an anode body to be formed into a sacrificial anode of a metal structure, and a magnetic attraction device connected to the anode body. The magnetic attraction device comprises a permanent magnet and a corrosion preventive member including a corrosion preventive material to be formed into the sacrificial anode of the constituent of the permanent magnet and further electrically connected to the permanent magnet, and the corrosion preventive member includes the powder of the corrosion preventive material being zinc or zinc alloy and an organic material mixed with the powder. The magnetic attraction device comprises a yoke composing a magnetic circuit together with the permanent magnet. The corrosion preventive member is provided between the yoke and the permanent magnet. The yoke of the magnetic attraction device has a back yoke attracted by the permanent magnet, and an outer peripheral yoke formed integrally with the back yoke and disposed at the outer peripheral side of the permanent magnet. The corrosion preventive member is provided between the outer peripheral yoke and the permanent magnet.
