A galvanized heat-treated steel material is obtained by heating a galvanized steel material to a temperature range allowing plastic deformation or hardening and has a coating weight per side of a plated layer present on the surface of 20-100 g/m2, an Fe concentration of the plate layer of 10-35% and a center line average roughness Ra of the surface of the plated layer of 1.5-5 μm and contains a η phase in the plated layer. With a coating weight per side of the plated layer of 30-150 g/m2 and after heating of the galvanized plated steel material followed by cooling at a cooling rate of 30°C/s or higher, the surface roughness of the plated layer persisting on the surface of the galvanized plated steel material is adjusted with a pressor roll.
