PURPOSE: To provide a galvanized steel sheet excellent in arc weldability and capable of improving weldability and weld quality by preventing the occurrence of blowholes and pits even if arc welding is applied by using solid wire, flux cored wire, etc.

CONSTITUTION: This galvanized steel sheet is the one, having a plating layer consisting of, by weight, 0.1-1% Al, ≤20% Fe, 0.05-6% Mg, and the balance zinc with inevitable impurities, and the one, prepared by further incorporating ≤2%, in total, of at least one or ≥2 kinds among the element group consisting of Li, Be, Ca, Sr, Ba, La, and Ce into the plating layer.
