Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game controller having a button which emits a light.SOLUTION: A game controller comprises a key top of an operation button, a cylindrical light guide part for surrounding the periphery of the key top, a shading part for surrounding the periphery of the light guide part, an elastic member which is arranged right under the key top and transmits a light, a switch arranged on a lower side of the elastic member, and an LED. The key top and the translucent part are exposed from a surface of a housing of the game controller. A light from the LED enters the translucent part, passes the inside of the translucent part and is guided to the surface of the housing. Since the translucent part is surrounded by the shading part, no light leaks to the periphery of the translucent part. Therefore, the periphery of the key top of the operation button can be made emit a light in a ring-shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 32
