Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device which allows a player to selectively participate in a confrontation scene important in the development of wining/losing in a team sport game, and a game program.
SOLUTION: The game device comprises a means to judge whether a confrontation scene MS is occurring or not on a field, a means for storing in a memory a coordinate position on the field wherein the confrontation scene is occurring when the scene is judged as occurring, a means for disposing to display on a monitor a confrontation occurrence mark 21 in the coordinate position on the field wherein the confrontation scene is occurring, a means for judging whether a participation command from the player expressing the player\'s participation to the confrontation scene is inputted or not, a means for permitting operation input regarding the player\'s side characters constituting the confrontation scene for which participation is expressed, a means for performing a shift control on the characters based on the command from an input means, and a means for generating images on the characters operated and displaying them on a monitor.
