Abstract:

To provide a game machine equipped with a character such that a game player can touch it to change the performance or information thereof presented to the game player according to how the character is touched.

A game machine 1 is equipped with a character 5 such that a game player can touch it to change the performance and information thereof presented to the game player according to how the character is touched. The game machine 1 includes a detecting portion 27 for detecting that the game player has touched the character 5, a touching way judging portion 28 for judging how the game player has touched the character 5 and calculating a parameter value on the basis of a signal issued by the detecting portion 27, a performance determining portion for determining the performance of the character presented to the game player in accordance with the parameter value, and an information determining portion for determining information presented to the game player in accordance with the parameter value.
