To prevent the occurrence of missed commands or the like without considering the outputting timing of the commands in a game machine which carries out a bidirectional serial communication between the main board and a putout control board.
A control command is transmitted or received in a serial communication between a microcomputer 560 for game control and a microcomputer 370 for putout control. The microcomputer 560 for game control also transmits a connection checking command to the microcomputer 370 for putout control each time a specified period passes. The microcomputer 370 for putout control also transmits a connection OK command to the microcomputer 560 for game control in response to the reception of the connection checking command. In this case, the microcomputer 370 for putout control transmits the connection OK command in such a manner as to enable the microcomputer 560 for game control to recognize control state.
