To prevent impediment to a player's interest in a game by quickly starting a variable display game in a game state (e.g., a time shortening game state) where the game may become advantageous to the player.
In a game machine, first control means executes a first variable display game once each time a first operation-start storage item stored in first operation-start storage means is decremented by one, and executes a control to actuate a first variable winning device in response to a result of the first variable display game. The game machine includes actuation state selection means for selectively generating a first state where the first variable display game falls out a specific result to enable actuation of the first variable winning device, and a second state where the first variable display game is executed to disable the actuation of the first variable winning device. The actuation state selection means executes a control of changing over between the first state and the second state in response to a result of a second variation display game.
