To smooth operation in reel starting by accurately managing the phase states of reel drive means and correcting the phase states, in a game machine which causes reels to operate irregularly.
In the game machine, the operation of plural reels are controlled in accordance with a scenario pattern table composed of a combination of scenario tables in which basic reel operation patterns are described. Each scenario table includes drive command data having a pair of reel rotation amount data and processing frequency data for rotating the reels by rotation amounts indicated by the rotation amount data. The scenario pattern table is composed of a combination of plural pieces of scenario execution command data each having a pair of the reference address of a scenario table and call frequency data of the scenario table to be referred to. The scenario pattern table further includes correction data for correcting the phase states of stepping motors being the reel drive means.
