Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of reducing a data volume of moving image data while suppressing deterioration in quality of a moving image.SOLUTION: A memory module 133 stores image data in association with multiple kinds of objects and static images. A VDP 135 generates drawing data that is two-dimensional data, on the basis of a drawing instruction from a display CPU 131, by executing: geometry computing including processing of arranging the image data in a world coordinate system; and rendering including processing of projection to a projection plane. Moving image data is stored as the image data. The moving image data is decoded through a moving image decoder and is developed to still image data for multiple frames. In this case, one moving image data is divided into multiple pieces of moving image data according to a mode of a moving image and a different data volume is allocated to each piece of the divided moving image data.
