PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suitable promotion notification corresponding to the kind of a specific game state.SOLUTION: A game machine executes promotion notification (for example, operation promotion notification) for reporting promotion of return operation of a recording medium (for example, a prepaid card). The game machine can be controlled to at least a first specific game state (for example, a jackpot game state based on a normal jackpot and a probability variable jackpot) and a second specific game state (for example, a jackpot game state based on a 4R specific probability variable jackpot, an 8R specific probability variable jackpot, and a 16R specific probability variable jackpot). The game machine executes the promotion notification in a first mode when being controlled to the first specific game state (for example, the operation promotion notification is executed in a full-screen display), and executes the promotion notification in a second mode differing from the first mode when being controlled to the second specific game state (for example, the operation promotion notification is executed in a reduced display mode).
