Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably count the number of supplied game media for each type by reliably identifying the type of a game medium to be counted regardless of types of a plurality of types of game media.SOLUTION: A token counter includes a plurality of counting units for counting tokens supplied to a supply port. Each of the counting units sets one type of token as a registration token from among a plurality of kinds of tokens and includes signal acquisition parts 141, 142, a determination part 143, and a counting part 144. The signal acquisition parts 141, 142 acquire two of magnetic signals for identifying each of different elements from among elements, such as an outer diameter, a material, and a thickness, from tokens passing through a detection part of a magnetic sensor 134. The determination part 143 determines whether a token is the registration token according to two reference magnetic signals acquired in advance from the registration token. The counting part 144 counts the registration token determined by the determination part 143.
