The token dispensing section 6 of a token dispensing machine 1 has a dispensing out test button 60b. The dispensing out test button 60b outputs signals commanding for examining whether or not the token dispensing section 6 normally operates when being pushed. The signals are transmitted from a connecter 60c to a main control section 4. A counter sensor 60e is constituted of a photosensor, arranged on a route where tokens are sent out from a token tank 64 to a token discharging opening 60a, and outputs signals showing to have detected the tokens when detecting the tokens passing through the route. The signals are transmitted from the connecter 60c to the main control section 4 and used for counting the number of the tokens dispensed by the token discharging section 6 in the main control section 4.
