PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system and the like which can make a player maintain a desire to obtain an item, such as a card, anew.SOLUTION: As one embodiment of the present invention, a server device for displaying a game screen to a user terminal used by a user has: an item management part for managing the number of points of an item the user has obtained in order to use for the game; and a game processing part which calculates a first total value of the number of points of the item the user has selected via the user terminal, calculates a second total value of the number of points of an item in order to increase the first total value, and increases the first total value in accordance with the second total value.
