PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system and program which can implement appropriate event control etc. in a system in which a path traveling and an event occurrence of a game are fused.SOLUTION: A game system includes a location information acquisition part which acquires location information of a player, a setting part which sets a path for traveling a plurality of points set in a given region, and a game processing part which carries out an event control which generates an event corresponding to the point on the path to the player moving along the path according to the location information of the player. The game processing part carries out a different event control, or arithmetic processing of changing a game result between in the case of a point-order movement in which the player moves in a point order of the path and in the case of a point-skip movement in which the player skips one or more of the points on the path and moves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
